I have no idea, but it really is bizarre. If we'd had a real emergency, that could have been disastrous.
That's the thing: apparently, the majority of summer classes at AIPD (at least for the upcoming term?) are night classes, with no other available time slot. But if I must take classes at night, I think summer is the best time to do so.
