I'm thinking about recording my everyday experiences this year... but I'll make most of them private posts and keep only the most interesting up for readage. No excessive spam from me! ^__^
Today's assembly was the. Most. BORING. Assembly. In. History. I swear it. The classes were not separated into four groups, and so everyone was trying to get seated wherever they could. A lot of people ended up on the floor. New teachers were introduced, the cheerleaders did a one-minute that'salltheyeverdoanyway routine, some things were announced, we did two waves, and left. What the shit? Seemed less than a half hour long, and most of the time was spent finding seats. I sat with Kara, Alicia, and Cameron (ex-Jellyfish). Jason, Kat, and Noelle were on the far side of the gym; Jason waved, and I waved back. Cameron was a-searchin' for Katlin all the while, but she came in late and merely stood by the doors.
S'hokay. English is fun, and Government is GREAT. Today, Mr. Carrow showed us "El Gato". *dies* ... *dies again* Laughter every day! That man is nuts. Doering was funny (I miss fifth period English! ;__; ), but Carrow is just about gut-busting. And Jason has come up with a new idea for capital punishment: hang the criminal by his toes with piano wire, encase him in sugar, and unleash a mass of ill-tempered hummingbirds on the sucker. (Originally, Jason mentioned honey, but I explained that honey will cause a fungus to grow on the hummer's tongue and it will eventually die.) *hummingbird geek*
*chants to self* "I WILL keep up with work. I WILL keep up with work...."
Lunch was hysterical, as is always. Brenna took pictures of everyone, Danny's peach and sandwich had massive bruises, the annoying boys neighboring the drama room attempted to steal the trash can AGAIN, Kim and I wore multiple pairs of glasses at a time, and... geez, it's so much fun.
