Two more portfolio pieces.
Feb. 22nd, 2007 08:35 pmI began two more portfolio pieces today with encouragement from Mom and Dad. One is a drawing of Draco: it's very light, but when I showed the drawing to Mom, she told me add just a little bit more to it, if anything. I left it as it was, and I quite like it.
The second drawing is a still life with my Mexican cat figurine, my raccoon skull, and the staple remover (the nifty type that looks like the jaws of a carnivorous mammal, which is why I grouped it with the cat and the raccoon skull).
Melissa also called me today to clear up some things about what I'm eligible for from the FAFSA, though she mentioned I should get my application in before I know for sure. All I need to do now is produce more drawings, so I'm very close to submitting my application. I also need to finish my 150-word essay (paragraph), but that will be a snap.
Feeling good. Keep it up.
