Terrible comparison, but it's true. I spent a few hours downloading enormous, high-resolution images of galaxies and nebulas / -ae last night to cheer myself up. I didn't draw ANYTHING over the weekend. Emo tear. But space makes me happy, because it's so bewilderingly beautiful and vast. Jooooooooy!

I also reorganized a bunch of pictures on my wall to give them a new 'compostition'. I'm a reorganization geek.

Dad made a ledge for that bluebird to perch on. He's on his ledge right now. Pretty bluebird!

After school today, I vacuumed my room. Hadn't vacuumed in MONTHS. Although I did vacuum it last night first, after dusting. It feels so clean and fresh. Woo! I AM A PARTIAL CLEAN FREAK!!!

In summary, space, reorganizing, and cleaning make me happy when I'm restless and bored. Birds make me happy, too.

And before the first bell rang today, Brenna had me listen to a couple VNV Nation songs on her iPod. OH MY GOD. "Beloved" and "Chrome" are SEXY. I NEED THEIR MUSIC. Off The Record has two of their albums. DROOL. MUST BUY. ACK! But I need to wait for the book sale first. I crave more books as much as I crave more music.

I need to bring my English grade back up. Went from a B to a D because I had to put off regular assignments to finish my process journal (I'm horrible with things like this).

Let's see, anything else remotely interesting...? Mmmmnope. :D

Except that I'm still hooked on House. OH GAAAAWD!

*does a li'l VNV Nation dance* AUGH THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. Candy crack, and then some!

I've been saving a lot of my space pictures from that site! It's sooo coool. So far, I'm up to about 24 MB of spacey goodness, and I still have a bunch I need to transfer from my computer in my ROP Computers class (GOD I need a flash drive soooo badly!).

*huggles for the taking of the astronomy* You know, I really don't want to have to deal with regular scholastic classes after high school, but I don't think I'll be getting into any art colleges at this age.... I LOVES ASTRONOMY. I'd totally take it. My dad and I geek out on space programs all the time and have a bunch DVRed. :3

*emo tears over her left ear* LIFE SQUISHEH!!!

VNV Nation is the best, I have nearly all their stuff if you want me to send it to you over AIM. 'Beloved' is an amazing song, he wrote it in dedication to his diceased girlfriend, and I have the live version where he talks to the crowd for a bit and starts crying in the middle of the song, it's really powerful. 'Chrome' I didn't think was that great of a song, you'd prolly like 'End of Days' better if you liked 'Beloved'. My personal fave is 'Electronaut'. ^+^

Oh, is "End of Days" the one that goes The sun was born, so it shall die / 'Til only shadows comfort me / I know in darkness, I will find you / Giving up inside like me", or something along those lines? I've heard it's called "Further", though maybe that was a mix up, because I haven't seen any songs called "Further" on any of the CDs I've looked at. =P Heh! My friend Brenna burned it onto a random CD mix she made for me, and that's how I got hooked.

I use MSN Messenger - is that compatible with other messenger programs? Because I'd love if you could send any songs when you have time! <3

^__^ A lot of my CDs are 45 minutes or less, including some of Depeche Mode's older albums. Ms. Gouveia has played Flogging Molly in aerobics, though I'm not sure if I've heard anything by Nightwish. I eagerly anticipate! *loffglomp*
