Rainbows, sleep, snakes, Amazon stuff.
May. 20th, 2006 10:54 pmYesterday was senior ditch day. I ditched. Whee! I was exhausted after my presentation on Thursday and I knew I would have fallen asleep in every class anyway if I had gone to school. So I slept in until 11:25. Yessss.
(But before I went back to sleep, I took a few photos of a double rainbow that appeared over our deck. So beautiful!)
Dad came home from a friend's house with a gorgeous bullsnake, three and a half feet long, and very tame. We took some photos of it, marveled at it, then let it go in the rocks. I love snakes. <3 <3 <3
Today was supposed to mean a used book sale to support the library, but it didn't happen because of the rain. I'd been waiting for months to get some bargain books. WHINE!!! Called Alicia and she told me it's been rescheduled for June 3rd. I WANT BOOKS GODDAMNIT.
Soooo I ordered a flash drive and the Criterion Collection Special Edition DVD of M. They should arrive in about a week or less. HAVEN'T SEEN M IN A FREAKIN' YEAR!
And to top it all off, TCM is showing Freaks on Monday night. Been waiting about four years to watch that movie.
Began another spacey tablet doodle today. Looks like a nebula. Yay!
Life is good. Just boring at the moment. ARGH!
Finished Raptor Red. MUST. DRAW. DINOSAURS. DIIIINOOOOOSAAAUUUURRRRRSSSSSS!!!!!
