Good art stuff; ATV; other.
Mar. 17th, 2007 09:43 pmGot four Prismacolor markers, a third Tombow dual brush pen (these things are awesome), two opaque white gel pens (for highlights and corrections - finer detail than white out), two eraser caps, and a Magic Rub eraser. Dad bought fresh sand for Draco's terrarium and outdoor cage, and it looks very nice in both of them. We spent a lot of time at Kilroy's searching their junkyard for a replacement tail light and found one on a van not much older than our own.
Speaking of the van, it's looking much better than it had previously. All four tires have been replaced (they have neat new hubcaps) and the windshield, which had had spiderweb cracks all over it, is brand new. Pretty van. It's going to be my car for Oregon. I must think positively.
I drew Mom's foot today. "It looks like Dad's foot," she told me. XD
Also from Mom: "The way you dress, it's like you hate your body."
...Nooooo, really?
I don't hate my body, but I do dislike it. Humph.
Dad was out for a long time today getting the truck serviced. He also bought a 1986 Suzuki ATV for $800. Wow. That was relatively unexpected... relatively only because Dad has been talking about getting an ATV. He's going to sell the boat this summer after we take it out once or a few times.
At Weimar, I rode our ATC a lot. They're no longer produced because they're dangerous, but I got used to riding it all over our yard there and here. Dad took me on a ride up Wolf on the ATV, then I rode it myself. It hurt my ears. (Though nothing in terms of potential hearing damage compares to the time Dad let me shoot his German Mauser... without earphones. PAIN.)
