At 11:00 tomorrow morning, I have an interview at Art Center College of Design. Went shopping today with Mom, Dad, and the grandmas to get me a nice outfit (because I didn't bring anything interview-appropriate). My portfolio is assembled and ready.
I really hope something good comes out of this. Art Center was one of the colleges recommended to me by David Wetzl at Portfolio Day last year in March.
I have told some of you that my grandparents contacted the Disney studio in Burbank about my art... when I was in sixth grade (that's a laugh). One of their department heads asked that we call them back when my art became more detailed. We called back today, and they named a site where you can upload your portfolio directly so Disney guys can check it out. Not sure if I want to work with Disney, specifically, but animation / illustration is what I feel is my true calling.
My interview outfit is much snugger than what I usually wear, but at least I won't look like a bum.
