Confidence booster!
Jun. 11th, 2007 03:16 pmDad had me drive up to GV to go over the route Cammy had taken for his driver's test. ...How simple can you get for a driver's test? Geez! Afterwards, I bought five new Tombow Dual Brush Pens at Walkers (eight pens total now: the rainbow, plus black and grey).
Then he had me drive behind the K-Mart up there and I practiced backing up again. Backing up in the Taurus is a snap compared to backing up in the van. Dad had me back up using my side of the car (looking outside the door and in the mirror) and using the opposite side view mirror. I did very well with his instructions, and that made me very happy. My retake test is this Friday, and I AM GOING TO PASS IT.
Yes, this means I will be driving the Taurus for my test instead of the Pontiac, Mom's car. Dad reminded me, "Wait a minute! Cammy's out of school; you can drive the Taurus." The Taurus is a REALLY nice car, too.
Dad also told me that, after we get my stuff up to Oregon using the van, we might even trade it in for a smaller car. Then again... it would be an Oregon car, sooo.... Ah well, I don't have to worry about it right now. My backing up practice today has left me in a good mood.
And now to continue cleaning up Iiacci [ee-YAH-chee], a catlike demon in my sketchbook. He'll be getting colors, too.
