DRACO IN A BONNET (and other things).

Had a delicious dinner of ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and cranberry sauce. Aunt Pam baked biscottis this morning, and also made sticky buns. Uncle Larry had cut up a ton of strawberries to eat with whipped cream. As far as food goes, a very satisfying day. Michael, Jessi, and Mitch all came over for dinner, and it was fun visiting with them. Roxie and Bobbi were over, too, of course. Maddie was at her dad's house.
Finally added my interests back to my profile. Long list, but hey, my interests are many and varied.
I've finished three of my four homework pages for Quick Sketch. I've drawn Rorschach; Mr. Logan and Dog from Origin: The True Story of Wolverine; Bolt, Mittens, and a pigeon (I should add Rhino); Master Tigress (I still want to get Kung Fu Panda); Nightcrawler; Stork; and prophet-of-doom Rorschach. Woo! I'll scan and post the pages soon to share with y'all.
Also, I've got a good chunk of my Intermediate Modeling homework done. What's nice is that the first assignment simply has us experimenting with several modeling techniques to create a real object or abstract art. I'm going for abstract art, ha.
Aaah, Robbie Williams. The Ego Has Landed was my first CD - a gift from Becky for my thirteenth birthday. I haven't seen or talked with her since my graduation....

Your interests are hella sweet. I obviously like the ones we have in common (LIKE OMG DAVID BOWIE...and others, of course ;)). But I love that you list androgyny, asexuality, individuality, and squee! And Little Children!
I want to see the drawings, but you need to draw Rhino, duh. And I need to see Kung Fu Panda.
It sounds like you've had a good deal of progress with your homework!
You didn't get a CD till you were 13? I knew this, it just seems weird since I got my first when I was 8. *shrug*

DAVID BOWIE WINS THE UNIVERSE. SQUEE! is actually for Jhonen Vasquez's comic, but it could go for the saying as well (ohohoho I am sneaky!). :D And androgyny, asexuality, and individuality are now very prevalent in terms of describing parts of my personality, so I had to add 'em. Little Children for the (amazingly depressing but nonetheless fantastic) win!
I shall draw Rhino! :3 I mean... it's Rhino. He HAS to be drawn. Kung Fu Panda is freaking adorable; I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it!
Yup! Making good progress so far. What helps is that I don't have to worry about my art history class until next week; this Friday is an in-service day. Score!
lol, Yeah, Cammy got his first CD around 8, I think. Must have been because CD players were so expensive back then (DAMN we're old!).

Oh, and practically all the scenes with Ronnie are now on YouTube - including the car scene. I love watching Ronnie's scenes (JEH, duh), but not that scene.
Oh, and I might add nonconformism to my interests, because that fits me well, too.
I found some great Rhino pics while searching for references for my Quick Sketch homework, so I've got lots to choose from. :3 I should just buy Kung Fu Panda and bring it to the Bay Area this summer and be all HOSNAP. XD

I mean, I've still dawdled on the Internet, which is lame (except to keep in touch with my friends!), but I've gotten quite a bit of work done. You couldn't find The Ego Has Landed? Baaaw! It's a WONDERFUL CD - the American combination of Robbie Williams' first two UK albums, which I only learned last year. XD If you want the tunes, I could bring you the CD or the MP3s on my flash drive. Some of my favorite songs of all time are on that album, including "Millennium" and "Lazy Days". Beautiful.
