I can't believe school's out. I'm a goddamn senior now and I don't want to be. I feel cheated somehow because I haven't known my BR friends as long as I've known my friends at Colfax, and here I don't even contact my Colfaxians unless they happen to be on MSN. Some friend I am. I must communicate!

Wednesday meant U.S. History and Science finals, both of which went quite smoothly. I enjoyed the freakish weather; I am a sucker for rain. Rain makes me happy. Rain in June, hot damn! - I had better see some August thunder showers before... school begins again. Fuck. Wearing a hooded sweatshirt in June gives me kicks.

Yesterday was really fun after Algebra 2 was OVER. Hoo, boy, you can bet I failed THAT final with a mushroom cloud. Oh, yes. I had fun playing with the graphing calculator's spelling capabilities; hit ALPHA and any number of keys and you can write sentences. That was a blast, at least. I took a picture of Brenna as she read her manga, and as the last twenty minutes of Algebra 2 waned, I doodled and the two of us talked. The twenty-minute break was nice. I hung out with Ed, Alex, and Cameron (Jellyfish) and the three of us walked to Ed and Alex's shared locker. I found a zipper tab along the way and stuck it in my pocket. Alex handed me a Skittles wrapper with an ad for the "Hunt for Grievous" game at skittles.com. I squeed. Oh, General Grievous. <3 She also gave me an old binder of hers. Ed and I then proceeded to Isham's.

We greeted Danny as we came in and I told him that I had a poster board for him to sign; he had me sign his yearbook on Tuesday. Danny pulled up a chair and situated himself at the side of my desk, then he and I got Adam to come over; it was just like our second quarter table group: Ed, Sam, Danny, Adam, and me. Fun times. I got Sam, Danny, and Adam to sign my poster board; I signed Sam's poster board, Ed's poster board, and Adam's yearbook; and Sam, Danny, and Adam signed Ed's poster board. ^__^ Signage! That was a great last period of art. We talked about digital cameras, Flash cartoons, Prismacolors, buttons, Star Wars, and the fact that Danny and Adam would be gone. I'm really going to miss them. As Adam noted on my poster board, we didn't talk last year; but it was awesome having them a second year in art, and what they had to tell me was very kind. They gave me their e-mail addresses, so it made me sad that I didn't give them mine. Of course, Danny and I are both on each other's Myspace friends lists. I want to search more e-mail addresses and add more school friends; that's the only reason I joined Myspace.

Today was alright. Psychology was totally laid back, and Korell talked to us the while we took his final, simply an evaluation of his class and teaching style. I studied for English afterwards. Later, someone decided to make a human knot outside. I said I would watch, but Korell urged me up to the rest of the class. XD It was actually really fun, though we gave up about a minute before the bell rang. During the break, I talked with Katlin, then met up with Alex and Ed again, and took a picture of Ed, Alex, and Brenna together.

Doering was pretty edgy today, which is understandable. He wasn't rehired, so he and his wife are moving across the Atlantic to Sweden. Too bad; I thought he was a nice teacher, but I'd heard those assholes in my art class talk shit about him all too many times. In fact, he was the first English teacher whose class I enjoyed coming to since I was in seventh grade. He saved the final for the second hour of class and popped in a movie, though we had to be quiet. I added some tidbits to my Clone Wars styled Grievous doodle and he commented on it: "Nice." (He also mentioned something about double elbows that I didn't quite catch.) Kim and I cracked up because we drew little hearts around Grievous' head. We also scribbled all over each other's arms; Doering made sure they were just scribbles and not some device for cheating. Took the final, laughed under my breath with Kim as we played with our test pencils after we were done, and relaxed at the day's end. I drew a funky phoenix on marker paper yesterday and set it on top of his desk. First, I wrote on the back: "HERE'S A CRAZY BIRD FOR YA. -JML" Then I set two dictionaries and a folder over the drawing face-down and left.

Rode Cameron's bus with Alex, which was fun. At Cameron's house, we talked with his friend Peter about all sorts of things. Katlin arrived later, followed by Matt. We watched the entire second season of Invader Zim and then watched The Incredibles (probably my sixth time - I love that movie), though Dad came soon after Dash ran across water. =P We gave Alex a ride home and talked along the way. All in all, a fun last day of school. I need to try seeing my friends this summer!

I'm headed for Santa Rosa tomorrow for my great uncle's memorial and will be back Sunday. Anyway....

Loff.
