Kate Bush and Tom Waits grow on me more and more with each of their songs that I hear. Kate Bush collaborated with Peter Gabriel on "Games Without Frontiers" and "Don't Give Up", so I was already somewhat familiar with her voice; on SIRIUS, I've also heard her songs "Running Up That Hill" and "The Hounds Of Love". Squee! And Tom Waits just owns. <3 He's also a delightful and quirky character actor (small roles, but they're great!). I love distinct voices. "Wuthering Heights" and "Suspended In Gaffa" are so wonderfully bizarre! Let's see... and I'm up to two Tom Waits videos now. Score.
I actually got into bed at 10:00 last night. After an hour, I wasn't asleep. I grabbed my pillow and fringed blanket and went into my closet. Stayed there for forty-five minutes, but still no sleep. Got up and went back to bed, couldn't sleep. Went down to beanbag near my open window and finally drifted off to sleep.... That was past 12:00 this morning. This is so frustrating; my eyes watered several times last night, I was that upset. I WANT TO SLEEP, DAMN IT. I think about too many things at once, ranging from my friends to the weird dream I had during my nap yesterday to what my future holds for me....
I'm never staying up until 6:45 AM again.
