Random facts.

Dad and I learned last month that I am no longer five feet tall. OH NO, I am now FIVE ONE. HELL YES. XD
Saturday's barrage of rain has once again changed the look of our backyard to a degree. All I can say is that, come summertime, we will have a LOT more swimming space. Holy shit. EROSION INSANITY. Not as insane as late 2005's flood, but enough to make noticeable changes.
Okay, besides that, I took an assload of pictures and I hope to post some comparisons here soon. It's amazing what water can do, isn't it?
I no longer have my permanent bonding retainer (the gold chain that was glued to the backs of my bottom incisors). A link broke in it a few days ago (this was the second bonding retainer I'd had since getting my braces off in March 2005), and it was poking the underside of my tongue. It wasn't very painful, but it was very annoying. Got it removed entirely today, and Dr. Wisdom asked me if I wanted that type of retainer again - or if I wanted a removable bottom retainer that I could wear only at night, as I do with my upper retainer. I went for it.
FLOSSING IS SO MUCH EASIER AGAIN.
I get my removable bottom retainer next Monday. Woo!
Dr. Wisdom asked me if I had my wisdom teeth (heh) yet. I didn't think I did, because I have only 28 teeth; most adults have 32. My four back-most molars have been fully grown since fourth or fifth grade, and he confirmed that they were indeed wisdom teeth and was talking about removing them. I've never had problems with these molars, so they probably won't need to be removed. I likes me teeth.
Taking a break from brooding over my FAFSA shit and Art Institute application has brightened my mood, so I look forward to getting the darn things done and sent in. Must make a bunch of still life / observational drawings!
