Brainsick dramatic reading!
May. 15th, 2007 10:40 pmSort of dramatic, I guess. (Personally, I'm not very good at reading my own writing aloud, ha.)
Went over to Brandon's house today; Jason was there, too. We all took turns reading my posted chapters of Brainsick... and that was actually very fun! Not much of a Brainsick-storm, because I have no new ideas for the story, but it was a break from my typical afternoons of sitting around doing nothing until 7:00 (at which I either walk Lupin or take her with me on a bike ride to the post boxes - which is good, but everything before a walk or bike ride is typically boring (AND BORED PEOPLE ARE BORING AUGH!)).
Thanks, guys! That was a lot of fun. Deddedicht's new nickname is Douchebag. =P
Jason and I also met Brandon's friend Liz, who is very cool. Many Wii games were played before we all settled down for House. (And I say it again: Brandon, your TV is the BEST TV for watching ANYTHING.)
Happy day! Now to stay up late and study some driving stuff. Cammy got his license last Friday and can now drive himself to school. My driving test is on Thursday and I AIM TO PASS IT. PASSITTHEFIRSTTIME!!!
OH, and yesterday, I bought Depeche Mode's Songs of Faith and Devotion, used, from Off The Record. <3
ALSO yesterday, my closet DIED. The wooden rods that hold up my clothing came loose and crashed, taking the clothing with them, because the metal bracer at the back of my closet came out from the drywall entirely. Dad helped me fix it and put a metal bracket between the shelving to make it stronger. Renovated walk-in closet joy!
As a result of having a renovated closet, my room is a complete disaster zone, because I began getting rid of stuff I know I won't wear or use anymore.
MESSY ROOM.
