After Jason left for home on Monday, I stayed up later than I should have, thinking I might get something drawn. I woke up Tuesday morning and my throat felt worse yet again.

Last night, I went to bed rather late again, but my throat felt very good. Brenna had called a few hours earlier asking if I was busy, but I told her I didn't want to risk going out with my throat being iffy like it was.

This morning, I woke up with a headache, and I thought I was going to vomit. Thankfully, I didn't vomit, but the headache is slowly going away now. My throat feels nearly normal; I'm just dealing with very thick, sticky mucus at the moment. No fever, no persistent coughing. I only cough when I know I can get rid of mucus.

Lovely homecoming gift. :|

Dad scheduled an appointment tomorrow at Mom's work. I'll probably get Zithromax again, or a generic form. Zithromax works wonders.

I forgot to mention that Mom and Dad got me Dean Koontz's latest, The Darkest Evening of the Year. I can't wait to read it! I also brought Phantoms, which is one of Aunt Pam's favorite Koontz novels. Additionally, I brought Torey Hayden's Somebody Else's Kids and Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, because I need to get that back to Kat. <3

Head feeling pretty good now. I've had orange juice, rye toast, and three Advil Liquigels.

Gaah, I hope Jason doesn't end up getting buggy.

I also had a really bizarre dream this morning. The first part of it involved people and objects getting teleported out of view, with other people and objects replacing them. In the second part, I was at an Assemblage 23 concert. For some reason, he was singing in German.

Heh. Well, I hate being stuck in the house all day, so later I'll bundle up and just walk down to the creek. Lupin ran off to Craig and Bonnie's house; Dad had put her out on the deck, but didn't realize that the gate door was open. Lupin running to Craig and Bonnie's is much better than Lupin running to Debbie and Kevin's; Lola is likely to get Lupin in trouble, but good ol' Jack just likes to walk and play.

Speaking of Jack: the poor dog has cancer. He's only six or seven years old, too. Lupin gets along with him so well.... She'd stayed with him while we were down visiting Grandma Ruthie, Grandma Jo and Grandpa Jeff last Christmas. She'll probably be heartbroken whenever Jack leaves this place.

EDIT: Oh my God.... Dad just confirmed that, yes, Lupin is up at Craig and Bonnie's. Jack died. Craig and Bonnie just put him to sleep. Lupin is with Bonnie right now, probably getting lots of loves. (Lupin really has two homes here.)

Poor Jack! He'd suffered from seizures. He's in a better place.
