YAY DWIGHT FRYE!
Just look at that smile! :D
Watched the 1931 Dracula with Dad last night. Cool stuff! Bela Lugosi kicks ass as Dracula (big duh), but Dwight Frye is mesmerizing as Renfield. (I always end up liking character actors typecast into playing lunatics, whee.)
Heh, inevitable Brainsick inspiration. Dwight Frye's mannerisms as Renfield are chilling and wondrous.
(Quick tangent: DAMN, this song is good. I like sad songs.)
Hehe, also as Renfield, Frye has a creepy, drugged-sounding laugh.
SO YEAH I love classic movies. *wriggles* There are SO many more I want to see.
I need to draw Renfield sometime. Frye's Renfield and Tom Waits' Renfield. They'll be having a battle over which is the better zoophagic, former-real-estate-agent maniac.
Draco's cuddling up against my stomach. <3
