Guess who's coming home this Saturday?

_{(I know I said I wasn't going to get on the Internet at all this week, but - silly as I am - I forgot that this did not include communicating with my group members through e-mail. Ha! Plus, this is happy news.)}

That's right! I AM COMING HOME FOR A TWO-WEEK VISIT DURING MY BREAK BETWEEN TERMS!

I confirmed with Nancy today during (the final day of... *emo tear*...) Language of Animation & Film that we have a two week break between terms. The second term begins Monday, October 1.

I called Mom and Dad while waiting with Uncle Larry at Cal Spas for Aunt Pam to get out for the day and told them the news. Dad asked, "Do you want to come down?!" and, of course, I agreed.

Hurray! I won't have to wait until Thanksgiving to visit my [immediate] family (including pets!) and friends after all!

So, this Saturday (the 15th), I depart for California around 11:20 AM.

My LA&F final was pretty easy - just required a lot of writing (and I had spent this morning recopying all of my notes, which took up five college-ruled sheets of paper, front and back on each). I met up with Jana again to discuss our Design Inquiry final, and Sarah actually showed up today. Chad couldn't arrive until after I was already in class, and I don't know if Rachel ever showed up.

Ah, the joy of working in groups. =P Jana and I agreed that five members is a pretty large group for a final project.... SO many students stay home during finals because they're working on other finals. It's madness.

ANYWAY, there's my happy news. Today has been full of endorphins. Now to finish my Design Inquiry essay! (Late-nighter tonight, woo boy!)
